Dental Benefits

Benemax has invented a brand new approach to group dental benefits: A "Consumer Directed" dental plan we call BENEDENT. Other dental plans have a different “defined benefit” for different types of care: preventive, basic, major. Benedent uses a “money purchase” formula. We give each patient a dental budget and let the patient spend that budget as patient and dentist see fit.

We support our dental consumers by giving them on-line access to the median cost of every dental procedure in every zip code along with a list of 100,000 dentists who have been specially certified based on their practice patterns and charge profiles. Finally, our “Ask-a-Dentist” feature enables members to pose dental care questions directly to a panel of dentists on-line.

Examples

First $150/year: plan pays 100%, patient pays 0%
Next $750/year: plan pays 80%, patient pays 20%
Next $1,500/year: plans pays 50%, patient pays 50%


How it Works

Benemax administers plan for employer.
Dentists bill Benemax direct: no claim forms required
Benemax pays the dentists direct, usually within 14 days.
